Our Story
Lifeology’s mission is to end youth homelessness by learning, growing, and creating intentional communities where young people can live and thrive. After receiving 501c3 status in 2019 we immediately began educating the broader community on the unique needs of youth and young adults experiencing housing insecurity and homelessness. Partnering with schools and various organizations, Lifeology provides triage, crisis support and shelter, and mobile learning labs across Maricopa County. In October 2020, Lifeology received a 3-year Family and Youth Services Bureau (FYSB) Basic Center Program grant to provide emergency shelter to minors (12-17). Renovations and modifications to a single-family home began in January 2021, ensuring it met all required shelter standards and becoming fully licensed by the Department of Child Safety in December 2021 and hosted its first youth in March 2022. Lifeology’s innovative mindset and grassroots mentality make them especially effective in developing and implementing effective and efficient strategies.
